This beautiful pewter Mezuzah with the Dove of Peace is approximately 3 1/2 inches tall. The inside cavity is approximately 3" long. The shin is adorned with 3 rhinestones. This mezuzah case comes with a premium, upscale, certified kosher scroll (Klaf), written by an experienced Israeli Sofer(scribe) on a high quality parchment. The scroll, which is beautifully hand written, meets stringent standards of Kashrut. Each scroll is checked both by a second Sofer and by computer at a special institute in Jerusalem to ensure that the scroll is properly written and that there are no defects. The scroll is approximately 2 ½ inches tall and 3 ¼ inches wide. It is traditionally believed that the Mezuzah scroll protects the household members both physically and spiritually. Therefore, it is important that the scroll be clearly hand written by a professional scribe on a Kosher animal parchment. The scroll comes rolled and protected by plastic so that it is ready to be placed into the mezuzah case.
